Cosy Fall

Hey guys!
So, here is the first outfit of the day!
What better time to photograph your outfit of the day after school than before you change into your slouchy sweatpants?
Today, I just decided to keep things simple and cosy (as is evident from the pieces I'm wearing). I just stuck to the basics of a black t-shirt from Primark and a pair of denim jeans from H&M. I added the element of cosiness by adding my thick knit cardigan from Zara which I tied with a belt to emphasise my waist. I love this knit cardi because it's so warm and has an awesome design with reindeers on the back. So a perfect garment for Christmas! :p The shoes I'm sporting here are from River Island and have the most precious gold buckle detailing! I fell in love at first sight. Obviously not literally or that would be disturbing.
I hope you guys are having a great day,
Jenny x.

Happy Halloween

BOO! Happy Halloween!
This year I won't be celebrating Halloween to the fullest, which is a shame, but in Sweden Halloween isn't really an important holiday. However, this doesn't mean I don't like dressing up, and using my imaginaion.
When I was younger, and lived in Switzerland, me and my brother along with several other friends from school, dressed up and went Trick or Treating. This was my favourite part of Halloween - collecting all the delicious candy, and then happily eat it when we got home.

Halloween inspired cupcakes that look absolutely scrumptious!

Check

Hello again!
My to-do-list for today is finished! I only had three things scheduled and now that I've finished those I can relax, and show you what I wanted to show you.

  • Homework: CHECK
  • Packing: CHECK
  • Clean my room: CHECK

This is basically how I want my graduation dress to look like, but with two shoulder straps, not one. It's tradition in Sweden for girls to wear a white graduation dress. This dress is from asos.com but I'm not sure they still have it, since this was from last year. Nevertheless is a gorgeous dress!

These are the shoes from the swedish online store nelly.com However, I'm not sure if these are the right shoes for me, I haven't quite decided that. I would be wearing these to my prom as well, not only to the graduation.

Sunday morning

Good morning!
I thought I would sleep longer today, since I woke up quite early yesterday, but no...it's 9.56 and I'm really tired -.-
Today I have to do some homework :( I have two small assignments for my psychiatry course, then I have to start on my resumé - I'm going to apply for a part time job to earn a little extra cash, and it's a good work experience. It'll be my first real job! :) So I really hope I get it; a few of my friends work at the same place, and they all said that they needed more people.
I have to start packing for when I go to Helsinki on Tuesday. I know it might seem early to start packing three whole days before actually leaving, but this is what I always do - besides I hate having to pack the last minute, because I usually forget 60% of the things I actually wanted to bring with me!
I don't think I'll do an OOTD today, because I'll most likely be lounging around in my p.j's all day. It is a Sunday, so I think you'll understand.
Well, my stomach is growling like lion, so I'm going to go downstairs and have some breakfast; homemade iced tea, strawberry yoghurt ad toast with peanutbutter - DELICIOUS!
I've already planned what I'll bog about later today, so stay tuned for that!

Here's one of my favourite songs from on of my favourite band, the Red Hot Chili Peppers!

Sofia

Hello everyone, I'm Sofia!
So, first blog post on this blog - I'm exited!
Jenny and I have decided to start this blog to keep each other updated on what's going on in our lives. We both love fashion, so this blog will most likely contain quite a lot of Outfit of the Days (OOTD)
Now if you don't already know this, Jenny and I have been best friend's since 4th grade. During recent years, we've moved away from each other, separating us; I live in Sweden, and Jenny lives in Finland. However, even though we don't live in the same country that doesn't stop us from visiting each other as often as possible. I'm actually going to Helsinki on Tuesday to visit her.
Other than that, I attend a local high school and I'm in my last year of high school (thank the lord), but this means I have a LOT of work -.-
Since it's late over here (0:10), I'm actually pretty tired and I need to go to bed.
Sleep tight!

"Halloween's Coming"

Hi everyone, I'm Jenny!

Last night, I celebrated Halloween with a few of my close friends in a different style. I decided to dress unconventionally to the European norm of sporting a scary outfit so instead opted for the more American style. With that, I made myself my very first Wilma Flinstone outfit, mainly because it would be cheap and easy. While I dressed up as Wilma, my friend was a greek goddess (as you see from the first picture). I also made a graveyard inspired cake, and made Sangria because it looks like BLOOD.

I had to dye my hair orange to stay true to Wilma's appearance. If you are ever going to spray your hair with dye, wash it out before you go to sleep! Honestly, I woke up this morning with an orange face, orange nails and pillowcase and stained through to the pillow itself. Despite this horrifying revelation, the evening was super fun and successful.
Good night to you all.
