Festival Time

Summer time means Festival time for some. In Sweden, attending a festival during the summer months is something which is highly sought after, and a lot of my friends have been to several and they highly recommend it.
The other day a thought crossed my mind. Since people usually camp out together in a field next to the festival grounds with thousands of other people, where do they store their valuable objects? Obviously you wouldn't bring expensive jewelry and clothes to a festival, that would be foolish. But money is always a must as well as your ID, along with your cellphone. But then I thought of these handy pouches, which you hang around your neck:

This would be the ideal place to store your valuable things which you would not like to lose. I know that a few of my friends left their money in their tent and it got stolen. Obvisously they hadn't thought of this clever resort!

For quite some time now, I've been thinking of introducing a new concept here on the blog; Music Mondays. These types of posts will consist of a few songs which I am loving at the moment :) 

Don't expect to only find one type of genre here, because that's not what I listen to. I love all kinds of music, from Rock to Pop, Classical to House. Hopefully there will be at least one song that you'll like.

A Massive Thanks

First off I want to say a massive thanks to my family and friends for being part of such a special day. On Friday the 8th of June, as many of you know, I graduated! After 12 years in school and three years in preschool and kindergarten, I can finally say that I've finished school.
I woke up at the crack of dawn to get ready for breakfast with my class. We celebrated and enjoyed the last few hours of being together as a class. One we got to school at a round eight we were met by the other graduates cheering and jumping around. We were so happy and excited!
At 12.15 our names were called and we stepped onto a podium, where we were met by people with beaming faces. We paraded around town with the whole school and cheered. Later it was time to jump on the trucks and ride around town, which in my opinion was the highlight of he entire day! We were blasting awesome music, jumping around and dancing, as well as trying to sing along to the songs. The sidewalks were packed with people who were there to behold all of us on such a joyful and exciting day!
Once I got home I was greeted by my fellow friends and my family. We ate delicious food and munched on some scrumptious cake! (Which my friend Jenny had been looking forward to eating for two days! tss)
At 21.00 it was time to go clubbing along with ALL the other graduates from my town!
This day was one of the best days in my life and I'm so happy that so many of my friends and family could make it here to celebrate with me! :D Tack <3

Recovering

This weekend I've been trying to recover from Friday's craziness. I have to say though, that was one of the best days of my life. All I want to do now is rewind time and experience it again - I had so much fun! Sadly though, I think I'm getting a cold. My throat really hurts when I swallow and none of the medicine I have is helping it!
Anyway, I had some fun putting together two outfits that are perfect for the summer, I hope you enjoy! :)

GRATTIS SOFIA!

Hello to all fellow readers,
This is Jenny (I used to post on this blog), a friend of Sofia. I am writing this post in Sofia's room as trucks  blasting horns and loud music pass and as students scream and sing along to the lyrics of the songs. It has been a great day so far, especially for my dear friend Sofia. She has finally graduated! Congratulations!! The senior class were met by a mass of beaming friends and family who cheered them when they got onto the stage. They then followed a marching band around the large town with huge crowds of people swarming on the sidewalks. Her class of 17 students are now onboard a truck blasting loud music and blowing their party horns as the truck parades the town.
I am writing this post as a congratulations to Sofia. She was telling me how surreal everything was -- she got her diploma and got to wear her graduation cap proudly. Not only surreal is the event but emotional too. I have known Sofia for 10 years and never thought we'd graduate separately. Hell I never even thought of graduation when I was 8 years old. But here we are 10 years later, school completed and a new path that meets us. You have worked so hard and deserve a place at the universities in Scotland. I wish you the best of luck for your future but most of all enjoy this day and make it a memorable one.
