The film is a parody of other teen musicals such as Grease and Hairspray, and you can clearly see the trend in the plot; it centres around a group of teenage delinquents who are referred to as the "Drapes" and another subculture of teens called the "Squares." Cry-Baby, a member of the Drapes falls passionately in love with Allison, a Square, which creates upheaval and turmoil in the little town of Baltimore.

I thought the film was fantastic, funny and amusing! Of course, the music in the film is what made me like it even more :D
